I tested the PH of my well water and was shocked to learn it is a PH of 8.0. I thought about installing an acid injection system, but didn't know if anyone out there has tried this and how much the cost to install would be. What have others done to lower the PH of their water and/or soil?

Test the ph again once it has rested for an hour and allowed to air out..

Thanks for the replies. What type of sulfur do you use and where do you buy it? Do you have a link to the product?
Have you considered using citric acid?

We are doing a lot of water acidification up here in Ontario. Russ Landry is the resident expert. We are all using different materials to acidify the water including muriatic, sulfuric, citric and acetic acids. All will work just fine. You can use and injection system or just trat the water in the holding tank prior to application. Try to get your pH under 6.
