Hi, has anyone tried the fish emulsion 5-1-1 from the company Alaska? This is the only fish fertilizer that we are apparently able to purchase in Europe avoiding the customs problems which come with the products shipped from US. Any advise would be welcome Thank you! Stefano and Benedetta

I have used and will continue to use the alaska fish 0-10-10. It works like a champ. I would try the Alaska 5-1-1 for early season punch, but I am allready using 9-6-2 'Fish & Poop' from monterey laboritories. I don't no if monterey ships to Europe. I would say give the Alaska 5-1-1 a try, their 0-10-10 sure is a great product.

Its great stuff...and yes Luke it can be diluted and used as a foliar as well.
The only downside is the high level of smell. When my hoophouse comes down, I have to switch to a more expensive low odour product or I have every bear and racoon for miles in my patch.
Other than that...it is economical and easy to use. They also have other great products;

Sweet, didn't think about baiting bears with it. Lol Northshore. Luke, the fish and poop is a highly concentrated (also really stinky) foliar spray. I mix it about 1 tbs. per 2 gallons of h2o. It is awesome for the plants. They love it.

fish hydrolysate is much superior to the emulsion. Organic gem or Neptune's Harvest would be 2 National brands.

I use it and it works well. You can buy it in walmart. The smell is gross but it gets results.
