that time of year when you start putting a spring amendmentlist together.. i have been adding humic acid to my patches for the last 4-5 years. useally around 25 pounds per 900 sq.feet. my question is should i keep putting it on or let it go for a while.. i imagine it does't leech out or i may be wrong.. just wondering what other growers think.

Hi Scottie, if you have been applying 25 lbs. of Humic acid per 900 sq. ft. for 4 or 5 years, you may benefit more by applying some different ammendments. I have an excellent segment on my new DVD "How to Grow Giant Pumpkins 2010" on interpreting soil tests and applying ammendments. I would be glad to email you additional information that may be helpful as well. Hope you get a new personal bestr in 2011.

Joel Holland is top notch. My dad contacted him for some seeds w/ out me knowing and it was an awesome surprise. He definitely knows what he's talking about. When I start earning more money I'm going to invest in his DVD's. I'm for real. He's a good guy.

Joel was a big help to me last year when I started getting serious about growing. His videos are comparable to being there in person watching him explain everything he is doing. Check out his website. Watching his videos make winter bearable.
