If it's Agro-K's Cal-Mag foliar, 1 oz. per gallon if you're foliar feeding on a daily basis.

iam thinking about give the fruit itself a light moist or cleaning 3-4 times a week

I think that will burn the fruit and may cause the fruit to rot or something. Plus I do not think the pumpkin itself can absorb the nutrients. Feeding it to the roots would be better.

i have seen somewhere that they just moist the fruit with a towel

They don't really do thatanymore. I asked about it before seems like more of a problem than anything it burns the fruit.
