zap, 1st is soil test!!!! And then ask for recomendations here on bp.com!!! Soil properly prepared is first!!! Work from there!!! Lots of help here!!! Going to any store and asking for what you want, will not help a lot, if you don't know what your soil actually needs!!! 2nd..decent (not store bought)seed. Lot's of incredible one's availble here for a SASBE!!! 3rd...a split decision....b/tween education and hard work!!!Both are equally important!! The education is right here!!! That is one of the reasons I told him about extremepumpkins website is that Tom will help him or anyone with a program. Included in the program is help with the soil not just a store to buy stuff at. Tom at extreme pumpkins is great, he offered to help with my soil test I didnt even have to ask. AND he saved me some money too! I was going to buy more stuff than I actually needed. Two thumbs up for Tom ;) Oh and Im new too zap1 :)
