For insecticides that aren't systemic, how long do they stay on the plant if I am misting with water every afternoon to cool the plants?

is this useless or am I still getting some insecticide on my plants?

Same as a low pressure pump sprayer. Most contacts are good for 10-21 days depending on the active ingredient.

"Depending on the active ingredient" is TRUE!! ive used Ambush and "other" store purchased products last few years and sprayed every 7 days and always lost.... been fighting SVBS since I started.. Used Warrior T FIRST TIME EVER this year.. i had cukes and svbs everyday around my plants... I sprayed warrior T ONCE after 3 days NO BUGS EVER SAW AGAIN!!!!....
