I have a pumpkin plant no pumpkin so when do I change from high nitro to high potsssium fert or do i change when i have a pumpkin set?

K will promote fruit growth but will also promote aging. Be careful. I added a little at the end of August but this year, my K is very high as my soil test results showed. As long as the soil test was fine, I would stick with balanced ferts for a while. Anyone please jump in.

morin--i suggest you start at low rates at 3rd week of august like a 2 12 12 then going to a 0 0 6 sept 1st--then to a 0 0 24--right up to the end
