Has anyone an opinion on using chlorinayed water from a community water reticukation system to irrigate AGPs. Could it be harmful or restrict growth.

The small amount of chlorine in municipal drinking water has about as much impact on soil biology as a fruit fly would have on a speeding locomotive. It isn't good, but the bad is barely measurable.

I wouldn't worry about it when watering either, but it could be an issue if being used to make compost tea.

I have to also use city water this year and was worried about the same thing. I was gonna add the stuff in my barrels that you use to remove chlorine from fish tanks but it would be down right expensive.

I think that cloramine is a major issue when brewing ACT. Chlorine is less an issue as it can be gassed off before brewing.

Jason...I have read several times, that 24hrs in a holding tank will allow chlorine to gas off from yer water...? Should also allow time for water to warm up to propererly brew yer SDSJ in!?!? Hope this is correct!!! Grow em big, and see you in Sept??? Peace, Wayne
