Do i just toss it on top of the dirt and till it in or whats best. i'm have a soil sample done so would the manure mess with the results they are goin to send or is the manure just good stuff. should i cover it?

Till the manuer in and then do another soil sample there after..

I like Horse manure due to the higher potassium levels but there will be more weeds than cow manure (cows have more complete digestion).
Ideally we would compost the horse manure long enough to kill the weed seeds - then till it under.
