Does the Mosquito 86 Gas Blower look any good? Less than 1/2 the price of the stihl and appears to be created specifically for spraying/fogging. Granted is not a backpack but if the attachment could be retrofit to a backpack blower then maybe....

Or is it a piece of manure?

-The mosquito blower delivers 180-MPH airflow and 325 cfm air volume.

- The Stihl 420 delivers 172-MPH and 518 cfm

- The Stihl 330 delivers 170 and 430 cfm

I don't have any first hand experiance with the mosquito unit, but it looks like it could do the job

Roger S., the items discussed above are a combination of a sprayer and a blower...lots of folks on this site now call them a fogger...can deliver most liquid additives to yer patch in a fine mist, or "fog" that will cover top and bottom of the leaves, and excess will run off into the soil...ferts (kelp, fish, calcium, compost tea), pesticides, fungicides, etc. The upside is the fogging thing...will cover top and bottom, and some soil at the same time...plus the time saving...product info says 40 ft. or more of coverage...horizontal!!! Instead of walking back and forth thru yer patch, just go around the edge!!! Hope this helps!!! If not...google for the items, and read the spec sheets!!! Peace, Wayne
