I just watched Lords of the Gourds and I am really would like to know what type of sprinkler Joe Pukos was using in his patch. It was attached to a pvc pipe and gave what appeared to be a nice fine spray. The water when up to form an up side down cone shape. thanks KathyT

If I remember right, did it have a yellow top? If so it was the Whizzer sprinkler from Joel Hollands supply. I bought several, they worked very well. I put mine on a riser too 24", probably the very reason Biz grew so well.

I couldn't tell Wiz if it had a yellow top. They looked like they were connected to a pvc pipe, which I assume acts as a water line for the sprinklier, am I wrong? I don't know a lot about irrigation. I do need to learn though. I have positive read posts about Whizzers were for very small areas. thanks Wiz

KathyT, Yes, those are the whizzer head sprinklers and I purchased them from Joel Holland a few years ago. I like them a lot. The heads are cemented right onto the pvc pipe and then I just duct tape the pipe to a metal fence post. I can run them at low pressure and cover a 10 foot circle or turn them up high and cover a 40 foot circle..Joe Pukos
