I have read "How to grow a world class giant pumpkin." I am starting on " How to grow 2". I answered alot of my own questions but would like to hear from southeast US growers if their are any .

I live in California and maybe the heat has something to do with larger pumpkins, but I think it is the hard work and determination that gets the big 'uns. Last year was my first year growing an AG and I only grew a 350 lber (which isn't bad) but it would have been bigger if I tried harder. Good luck to y'all

I know it can be done I was hoping to find some warm weather growers like you 2 to swap ideas with. I don,t need heating cables or hoop houses , I may need misting . I could start earlier like Tim in Florida who posted his new record of 610? recentlybut I want my pumpkin in the fall.

I live in hot country not far from Tracy. Read the "How To.. Misting article by Scott Armstrong. I have bought most of the materials except the Dig Greenhouse Timer. The non-pumpkin grower Electrical Engineer in the family has to check our all the electronic specs. first, so that means I have to find them. Read the article. It even shows a web site to buy the timers etc. Suzy
