Try using a "google search" and simply type in worm castings and the town or state you live in.

I searched "worm castings MO" and found a bunch of suppliers.

To give you an idea what they sell for....

1 Yard "box" is $275.00 picked up in the Rochester NY area.
Each box is around 2000 lbs depending on moisture content.

Thanks, I wish I could find a ton for $275 close to home. I did the local google search. so far most only supply small quantities at high prices. I have emailed a couple more for more info. Shipping is the killer of the deal for most of the suppliers I have contacted so far. I'm planning on using the castings on the garden and the pumpkins.

The guy selling castings in NY is actually a dairy farmer who got tired of paying hauling fees to get rid of his manure. Today he has a guy who composts the manure & corn silage on site. After a specified composting period, they introduce the worms & reduce it to castings. They filter out the worms, sell the castings & then start over.

I'm sure you have a few dairy farms in the area. you might want to check with them. Maybe there is a new business venture in your future. LOL

Like Frank I can also vouch for wormworld. I have been to the site (it's only about 20 miles from my house). Very nice fella running the place, gave my kids a free tour of the facility. However, I don't think he has the capacity to supply large amounts of castings.

I accidentally created a system similar to what Tremor described. I had an old compost pile I was using as a feed supply for my worms. Since the pile was mostly finished, the local redworm population decided to move in for the winter. The little buggars have converted the entire pile to castings. I now have probably 500 pounds or so.

The dairy farmers here use a liquifying <sp> system for their manure. It is caught on a conveyer and transported to tanks where it is converted into liquid fertilizer which they then spray on their fields. What a waste :(
