If You have Pure ammonium nitrate NH4NO3.. the percentage of nitrogen in that compound is aprox. 35% Nitrogen, 5% hydrogen, and 60% oxygen.

Yo Mark, Actualy urea will not burn even though it is 46%N. I know I use it all the time on everything and the info with it does say this.

Pure ammonium sulfate (NH4)2 SO4 is aprox 21.21% nitrogen 6.06% hydrogen 24.24% sulfur and 48.48% Oxygen.. or at least that is the percentage composition of the compound.

One spring a few years ago I set out to top dress grass with Nitrogen. The spreader had seized up over the winter so I poured some deisel in the bottom to free it up,filled up with fertiliser and off I went. When the deisel soaked N hit the high speed metal spinning disc it caught fire.Initially I gazed in wonder at the thousands of tiny smoke plumes coming off the field then my expression changed when I realised that I was in fact sitting on a One ton Bomb. Its a good job I was wearing my brown trousers. I bolted across the field and dived over the nearest hedge. Luckily I got away with it but it was a Scortchio experience!
