hey all,
just wondering how many of you out there use the agro-k program and how has it worked for you?

i know some growers like the carlson/peterson team have stated they do not spray barely any foliar ferts if any, while some heavy hitters swear by using the agro-k program with daily spray applications. i am looking for opinions from those who have tried it. also, from anyone out there's knowledge of other grower's practices, how many heavy hitters use the full agro-k program and swear by using it.

thanks
shazzy

shazzy ive used agro k for two years know it is a excellent program,i managed to grow my new pb this year of 681 lbs i know not such a monster but considering i didnt get the plant into the ground until june 1 because of different problems it grew like heck and i firmly beleive the agro k was responsible, also its now october 10th and i still got two growing yes slowly but vines still look like they did in august nice green and healthy! also has helped prevent powdery milldew along with molasses ive not had any in two years now knock on wood anyway thats my two cents worth i beleive in the program highly! keith

Hey Shaz,
You know I am all for it. It has helped bring me my PB the last two years. The program seems to keep the plants healthy right to the end.

I agree with the above comments, I use 2 of the products & I feel it's working to produce a healthy plant and last till the end of the season. If you are having problems with powdery mildew you should give the foliar a try. Al B.

I have used Agro-K, for all three years that I have grown. Let none, of us forget, it is helping mother nature not surplanting or surpassing basic soil nutrient management.
Basic manures and elements, of compost, remineralization and PH management is the first and foremost basic steps and responsibility, of the grower.

I look at it somewhat like a vitimin pill one would give daily, to a healthy human child. Actually I know, of no other developed total program that offers the total ....helping mother nature facts and content as contained, in the AGRO-K soil and foliar program.

The company literature explains the content completely. If you are technical in nature you can talk with the company and the answers will be concise and clearly stated. There is no snake oil fact or philosophy. Many of those who called it snake oil three years ago are now growing with the help, of the product. Competitive statements, of doubt have softened, to recognization, of Agro-K as being a very good product company.

If I were, to return, to general gardening, the one management tool I would definately keep would be the Agro-K program. It just makes darn good sense, to me.

Agro-K has no tricky or dangerous content if the program is followed. Any failure while using the product is mis-use, of the product, or other problems, of soil ballance not taken care, of in the basic soil management or foliar management.

I used the program this year for the first time. I went from an official 141.5 lbs(2004) to a 554 lbs(2005) for a gain of 412.5 lbs and an 259est(2004 - rotted inside) to a 659 est(2005 - split underside) on Aug 29th. I also used it on my two acres of field pumpkins and will use the program again in 2006.

I do not know if it helped but my 554 won "Best of Show" at the SOGPG weighoff

It would be great to be able to use the Agro K Program here in the UK "BUT" it is not possible to obtain some of the ingredients needed to use it over here. Other than going to the massive expence of shipping in all the neccessary ingredience in bulk from the USA / Canada we are not able to have the bennefit of using the program. If there are any UK Growers reading this, and they know where to obtain whats needed for the Agro K program, PLEASE chime in and SHARE what you know.
Regards
Mike

I've taken a wild guess at Agro-K use cost per two plants on 1000 total sq. ft. My deduction comes up to about $60.00 a year total. This includes the product used making Symbrew Tea.
...A hidden bonus is the fact that my other garden plants also get some leftovers as does my compost pile and a few rose beds etc.

My worms line up at the edge, of the patch, just awaiting the arrivial, of the daily application. They are four feet long and thick as a ball bat. If I don't feed, on schedule they leave the patch and line up like puppys at a milk saucer, by my shed door. That's what my worms think, of the program. :)

This is simply amazing! I remember well being kicked upon and stompped, for even mentioning Agro-K, on this site.

Nothing like success, to change how the wind doth blow. :)

My thanks goes, to Craig Lembke, and his early pioneer growers, who developed this evolving foliar program, as an option, for building a stronger healthy total soil and plant.

agro K sounds good, but for the grower with a tight pocket book, 300 bucks is way to much for money to spend, including myself. Jim

I know growers who spend that much money on smokes and beer a over just two months.

For those truely, on a budget good old fashoned manure, some leaves, a little kelp meal with a bit of compost trumped up with a cover crop is a very good package indeed.

Making anaerobic tea is as simple as mixing equal parts of fresh manure and your local garden soil and/or compost. Let it mature at 60 to 70 degrees a couple weeks, whip it with a home made paddle and serve it up anytime. Dilute to a fluid that looks like tea we would drink. Cost almost nothing. To make a five gallon bucket full one needs only a small shovel full of basic components.

not sure if agro k is bought over every year or how long it lasts. But atleast a 300 dollar putter lasts 30 years! lol. Just having fun with you Stan. Well, I'm on disablity, so it's out of my budget. I'll stick to the manure, leaves and gypsom for now untilI get rich;)
