My compost pile has been out since November, I been spraying and turning it aleast once or twice a month and spraying it with molasses ,fish and sea weed. The last four weeks I cant get the temp up, today the middle of the pile was 70 Degrees, I can still see some leaf particles, corn husk, egg shells and little clumps of manure init. the color is almost a blackish color and it dont stink like poop. Think its done cooking? I tried to get it fired back up but with no luck.

Once it's cooled off it's near impossible to get going again I believe. Should be fine if black with no bad odor, put it out. The sun between now and May should cure it off if you go ahead and spread it in the patch...

The grass is beginning to grow. Mix in some clippings, make sure it is at the proper moisture and it should heat back up. If it is broken down most of the way, you can also do as Southern suggested.

What color is it Brooks? Can you still tell what the components are (were)? It is possible that nature has taken her course & the compost is done.

Brooks......all of the above comments are reasonable. One additional option would be to place it on top of the patch as a one to two inch mulch where it will serve as part of a mulch. As the plant expands add more plain old leaves, hay or straw up to two or three inches. Doing this you will have excellent finishing conditions and discouragement of weeds. A mulch remains mulch until it decomposes and becomes humus.
A mulch is one, of the common often overlooked excellent patch treatments, by many. Bury the vines and mulch some more as your plant expands. When the few weeds do appear hook or bend them over or out and add a bit more mulch.

Only thing i can make out in my compost pile is the eggs shells, all other stuff looks like clumpy black dirt.
