Hey yall, it's Dec. 1st 4:32 AM so I'm wondering if it's to late to be able to finish all of the work that needs to be done before I can get a soil test. I have told a local grower that I would split a truck load of zoo doo with him and don't want to go back on my word, so I'm going to get some composted cow manure and add it and then get the zoo doo, then add some top soil, compost and make a planting hole. Will I be able to do that? It's very warm here so I can get outside and do it, but I still fear that I may run out of time before my spring time soil test. Thanks for all of your help and I hope you grow a big one next year. Tom

Remember, the ideal organic content of your soil should be near 10%. Next spring, your soil test will tell all!

Hi Tom,if your soil hasn't had much manure lately you'll do a lot of good putting some on now, just do as much work as you can while the weathers right,if the soil test came back low and you had a wet spring thats when you run out of time
