Looking for a pair of seeds from Dan Wagner's 1501.5 that was weighed in Altoona, PA. Not sure if he is on bigpumpkins.com and I don't have any contact info. Thomas

Dan is on BP but can’t recall his screen name right now. I received a 1501 Wagner seed from PGPGA seed distribution this week.

The 1253 was a great pumpkin- I didn't think it was going to weigh that much when I saw it.
I'm surprised that it seems like people are sleeping on a seed like the 1501.5- it seems like a sure thing to produce some HD winners.

Although one never knows for SURE that a pumpkin is going to be super-orange from the screen to the patch, especially the FIRST TIME it is grown, ever, it appears from the reported offspring on pumpkinfanatic.com that anything with the 359 Foss involved on either side of the equation does result in a HD contender---if i were Mr. Wagner, I'D be 'sleeping on' the 1501.s, 1148s AND the remaining 359s...right under my pillow, lol---
