I took the last five years off due to college and thought, hey, why don't I toss a few of my old 609 seeds in some pots and see if I can get a little something growing. After spending a few days preparing some ground, as usual, this has morphed into a full-blown pumpkin growing obsession again and I've slaved over the patch prep every day for the last four days :). To my utter dismay, none of the 609 seeds germinated and I'm already late as it is. If anyone can send me a few Atlantic Giant seeds of any lineage above ~500lbs, I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks so much and best of luck this season!

I see that there are no offers yet. If you are not adverse to growing a seed from the fringes of the establishment i have one for you. It just sprouted a root today and went in soil for the first time. I can guarantee that it is from good lineage...selfed for 3 generations. If interested i will overnight the pot to you.

Scroll back thru this seed exchange message board to last fall, there are free offers for the cost of the postage to and from. I have orange from a 100lb pumpkin if you want, 1,000 lb parents.

That might be a better offer...1000 lb parents vs 1000 lb greatgrandparent. Much cheaper to send too.

Thanks so much for the replies and offers! The AG growing community rocks. Bnot, I looked into shipping on something that size, that fast and it seems to be $75+, haha. I truly appreciate the offer, though! Richard, I'll definitely send you an email if nothing else works out and also appreciate the reply/offer. Handyhomegrown; can't thank you enough. Will definitely be growing those seeds.

Mark, got the seeds! Man, I was totally blown away by the selection. My little brother was just as excited looking through the selection (and eating the jolly ranchers). I'm absolutely going to grow the 1478.5 Clementz! Thanks again! Anthony
