This is my second year of trying to grow a giant pumpkins. Do to my location I have high winds and lots of heat. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thank you,

Dave- I grew in northern Maine for several years under some very windy conditions. The best wind protection I could find was silt fencing which is available at just about any hardware store or lowes/home depot and is not expensive. I had the best luck enclosing each plant individually rather than just the perimeter of the entire patch. You can always add more fence as the plants grow. Best of luck!

Just from reading other post, shade cloth and sprinklers should help with heat.
