hey everyone,im looking for real, long cucumber seeds,please!!!

i grew telegraph last year and got a 15 incher,lol,also grew a heavy cucumber about 3 pounds ,j.holinrake was nice enough to give me a few seeds!!! but i cant find his email!!!

looking for alf cob seeds mostly but will be happy with any info if theres any in up comeing auctions!!or anyone that grew long cucumbers seeds lasy year??? thanks pizza

have seeds to trade,ttomatos,pumpkins,squash,watermelon

Ah"- those sort of seeds, I see what you mean now. :) there are a japanese extra long cucumber which grows up to 30" inches long but on the slim side, and then there is the Robinsons King George, which is a bit longer than normal 24" average but very fat, up to five inches through the centre, and weighes up to 5lb.- I will see what I can do ?

Have discovered that the best available is a variety called (Melonie) which is reputed to have been grown to 49" inches and with semi sweet flesh like a melon, and is available over here from Unwins seeds.co.uk. and it currently holds the record for the Uk long cucumbers, I think it was mentioned on here a short while ago as a variety ?

Melonie and Armenian cucumbers are both members of the melon family and will not be accepted in cucumber competitions.

There will be cucumber seeds in the EGVGA auction, including the long cucumber line from Alf Cobb. I grew several in the 30-34 inch range with these seeds.
