I'm looking for a seed that has a history for going white. Whiter the better.

I grew a 1174Ghaye07(1502Wallace X self) in my first year, all fruits were white and remember some other had white ones on in too

I grew an 892 Holland -10 which was white. I was going to dump the plant as it had some issues and I really didn't have room for it. I did manage to keep it and it put out a beautiful round small to med. ribbed white pumpkin. It was selfed. The fruit ended up just over 300 lbs. (est). The issue I had with the plant is it had 2 main vines(?) that I grew in a horseshoe shape. The trouble is I gave it to a school teacher friend for his class. He is an avid gardener so I think he kept the seeds. If he did I'll get some for you. So stay tuned if you are interested.

If you go to my diary(last entry 9-27-12) you can see a picture of it. Look at entries # 83,99,and 106. #106 was taken sometime after frost and it had been exposed for a while. You can see the cantelouping starting to develop. Up until then it was pretty white.

Of course, the seeds can´t have a proven history of white babies so far, but with two white parent pumpkins the cross could be likely to produce white again.

darren, i have some 1634 werner x self seeds that came from a white kin about 450 pounds, after main vine abortions, i just let it grow and got 5 kins from it for halloween, all between 300 and 450 pounds.you can see some of them in my diary, seeds came from the one named luna in diaries. e mail me if you are interested.
