Looks like many growers are seeking out 1495 crosses in lieu of the 1495 itself due to anticipated auction prices and/or availability, so I'll offer some crosses of it free of charge to anyone who promises to grow them and sends a SASB.
They are:
1208 Gerchy 2011.......1495 Stelts x 1622 Liggett..8% heavy 1167.5 Gerchy 2011..703 Gerchy EST x 1495 Stelts..20% heavy 1230 Gerchy 2011....1207 Young x 1495 Stelts...8% heavy
No collectors please.

Information on each can be found on AGGC, but no photos.
The 1230 was winner of the SOGPG weigh-off last year and was a very beautifully shaped pumpkin, beige in color and having grown over the blossom end with no internal cracks in the flesh. I tried growing it this year, but the extreme heat in these parts caused us to lose all our plants. I'll give it another go next year.
The 1167.5 had the most dense flesh of any pumpkin I've ever grown and it took a chain saw to cut it open. Again, no internal cracks and a very classically-shaped pumpkin beige in color.
The 1208 was a long-shaped pumpkin, doppled orange in color with an even thickness except for the stem end, which was very solid. No internal cracks.
Wish I had room to grow them ALL again, but four plants is all I have time to do.

703 EST 2010 is 718.9 Gerchy x 1258 Wallace. 718.9 Gerchy is 1005 Mombert x 893 Privitera.
The 1450 Wallace in the 1258 is, I believe, responsible for the heavy in the 703 EST.

My 1272 Barker 2011 is 1495 Stets x 1468.5 Stevens. Then I crossed my 1272 Barker into the 922.2 Barker 2012 1495 Stelts x 1272 Barker) my 922.5 was 152 pounds heavy.
