I am looking to try some Bushel Gourd seeds for the first time. The 155.5 looks like a great seed. I have a lot of good stuff to trade.

Thanks Terry, I only have a few left for myself, I gave all the rest away. Hopefully there are a few more out there lurking in the GVGO packs that people want to pass on to someone that wants to grow it.

Do these look like giant LG seeds. I had seeds several years ago that looked like butterflies and were as big as a quarter

I put a picture in my diary last night so as soon as it gets approved it should be there. I would say they look like pecan halves

The two I test germinated came up fine. I had them at 90F in slightly damp promix. I filed all the corky stuff off the seed and filed the sides heavily. The actual seed coat is really hard so it took quite a bit of filing. Good luck everyone that is trying it, I hope a few get going somewhere. The original seed that grew the 155.5 was bought from Quarry Farm Gourds if you want to try that if you have no luck with the 155.5.
