looking to get into growing some giant pumpkins in northern california this year. Any tips/suggestions on how I should go about it and where I can get some good seeds would be much appreciated.

Sure, I will do my good deed of the day, I have a few seeds I can send you, send me your address, fogsurfer313@yahoo.com use the site search box look up everything. You need good seed, soil, sun and luck. There are also alot of great clubs you can join on the west coast (you can also join any or all the clubs you want) on the home page of this site go to links there are alot of clubs. Dicks Tips is a good book to read.
