@Heatstroke: I couldn´t find any hint at a 852 in your 2011 diary, it´s a pity, I was looking for others who also grew the 852 Myers (just to see if all of them developed such a beautiful orange color) and it was hard to find some. Would be great if you would share a picture of that pumpkin with me (and perhaps with other growers).
@AllTheOthers: The 852 seed grew a fantastic plant, very healthy until the end (which was after the first week of October), made no troubles at all, and the orange pumpkin went seriously heavy. The 852 is indeed a seed to recommend to friends who want to grow good orange (and to enemies, if they wanted to grow green, LOL). Go for those seeds!

My pumpkin was only ~300lbs but was grown in 150 square ft and very poor soil.
