Would anybody happen to have any Jala Valley Landrace or other long-eared maize seeds from Mexico / Central America? I'm putting together a pedigree to breed a new variety, and I've heard that Jala has quite long ears (often 15 inches), which is a trait I'd like to cross with short, fat ears for higher productivity. I only care about the ear length, so the size of the plant(s) they came off of doesn't matter (I'd actually prefer the smaller ones). 100 good seeds is all I'd need. E-mail me at josh.gochenour.777@hotmail.com if you'd like to sell some. Thanks.
