i would really like to grow this if anyone has any to spare,,its in the book "the compleat squash" and the book says seeds can be obtained through the seed savers exchange but i cant find on their website or any other,,i have good seeds pumpkin an squash to trade or would buy,,,thank you in advance -mitch

If I remember right this pumpkin was in Mother Eath News..It was an ornamental only and not edible..If you like the mottled color of Orange and Green try Dakotoa Squash...My favorite pumpkin is One To Many..

Mitch, I may have some to spare. I actually got them from Amy Goldman, the author of that book because you're right, the SSE or anybody else hasn't had any available for several years. The problem I have found with this variety is that they rarely end up looking like the pictures in the book. It has the potential to be one of the most beautiful varieties out there but the coloration is highly variable. If someone ever stabilized it though, it would be a smash hit.
