I know it's a long shot but if anyone has a 810 Dill '99 that has the possibility for germination, I'd really like to grow it in 2012 if you have no plans for it. If you have any 810 Dill crosses, please list them if you would like to see them grown in 2012.

Tim, the 500 Dill was grown on the same plant that grew the 730 Dill and is the same cross of 1016 x 810.

I grew the 500 Dill and crossed with 1059.6 Vincent/McGill and grew a nice orange 599 lb pumpkin now known as the 599 Dixon 2011.

Billy, has anyone grown your 641.7? I'd like to see if the offspring's shape is the same as the mother. Great color and I love the cross.

Glenn, nice pumpkin! I'm not really looking for 730 crosses but your cross is interesting, I think the 1059 is a great orange pumpkin. Do you know if the 500 Dill was the same color as the 730? It's funny, I just checked my seeds I bought from the Dill's website last year and one of them is a 730x500. I didn't know what the 500 genetics were but hoped it was orange so thanks for the insight into the 500 Dill '06

Hi Tim, yes the 500 Dill was a very nice orange, smooth pumpkin. The Dills sent me a picture and that is what helped me decide to grow it.

Sent me an email and I will forward you the picture of the 500 Dill.

Thanks David for the heads up. An 810 selfed might be as close as I can get. Do you know when he grew it or did you see it? I looked in every year of the Grower diaries and didn't find an 810 in his diary. I did send him an email.

Marc grew that seed a number of yrs ago. It was never posted since it was a genetic cross and not for size. I can't speak for Mark if he has any etc or what the color was. I think he also crossed that seed with a 940 Mombert 98 if memory serves me correctly. Dave
