Presto, Pa.

I broke my main vine coming off the mound. Anyone got a left over seed or two. Frist time growing biggins. Will the plant give me a good pumpkin? broke about 18'' out.I went and buryed it. email is edrsilsley@comcast.net

Ed, at 18" out, I am guessing that you have secondaries started...train one of them as a new main vine. A set back, YES!!! End of season...Hopefully NO!!! Peace, Wayne

Ed, train strongest secondary, closest to break as yer new main vine!!! Peace, Wayne
PS...any movement (by you) of this secondary, should be done when it is warm (cold vines are brittle)...make your curve to new main direction during the heat of the day, and a little at a time!!!! Hope this helps!!! Grow em BIG!!!

Ed, went & looked and am truly touched by your dedication!! I am going to have to do exactly what I suggested for you to do w/ broken main...I have a plant that I really want to grow a pkn on, but is flat-vining, so will cut growing tip, and train closest secondary as new main, and hope for the best!!!
