paul, it is a tropical plant that I plan to use as a live screen in my back yard.

The castor bean seed coat contains ricin, one of the most poisonous naturally occurring chemicals known to Man; even very small doses can be fatal.I have traveled over seas quite a bit and I know you can get in trouble with castor beans in foreign countries.Ever since 911."Risen" is some deadly stuff and there have been attempts to make it.

i dont have any seeds, but i have grown them here in northern illinois. the hotter and humid it is, the better they grow. they grew to about 10-12 feet tall with huge leaves. cool plant. but good luck getting rid of the trunk and root ball in the fall. very tough to get out of dirt.
