Alexander Vasiliev from Russia, Ryazan region.
He grows a watermelon from a seed 237 Mendi 2024.
He named the watermelon "Toreador"
Weight on August 27th 125.7kg (277.2lbs)
The watermelon will be cut on September 18 and will arrive at the exhibition on September 19.
Alexander uses his own Lagenaria hybrid as a rootstock. He pollinated the giant African Lagenaria with a round bottle Lagenaria and, having received new seeds, used the new hybrid as a rootstock.
