Well I think the 2196 Zappa is succumbing to bacterial wilt. I failed to control cucumber beetles earlier in the season. Wilting during the day, mostly recovering at night, seeming to effect more and more of the plant moving towards the stump, a couple secondaries have completely died. Lessons learned here are more frequent application of Talstar is likely needed with the frequent rainfall we have had and I don't know how well the granular imidicloprid I used worked. I also found that weeds surrounding the patch seemed to host the cucumber beetles to some extent. Unfortunately I feel like this was my best shot a a big pumpkin. Planning to pull the plant and burn it.
