When I saw it was going to be a wheel I decided to grow it on a pallet with the stem down. Maybe I will do it with the 2287 Sadiq wheel I have going now. I believe that this is the best way to keep a wheel from splitting. It is a real pain to set up, but it worked for me 11 years ago�back when you could be 4th at Half Moon Bay with a 1578 pound pumpkin!
