Ty-Nee* falls back to 3" in crappy rain & cloudy weather on Saturday. It needs the miracle of Sunny Days, a rarity around here this year. An exercise in patience. Darn thing better be heavy.... Sunday was brighter in the afternoon and overnight Ty-Nee* bounced back to a smart (Kirk like 5.5".... ah maybe it was 6") gain in CC this morning. Still well below the bench marks. Anything over 5 is Splitsville potential for me. Today is the highest chance of a BES fart happening. Lots of Sun low 80's and somewhat only briefly more smokey weather ahead this week. Air quality issues again today. Misters will be on today at some point. Daily Gains should pick up again. There is plenty of moron stuff in this small patch to blow this fruit and it will be fun trying.... It certainly still has a few Cobra's popping up. Drenched the 1144* today and all maters 0-52-34 with Ca, Mg, Mn, Silica and Phosphite. Have not worried too much lately about drench pH. However all this rain makes me darn sure to have maximum availability within the soil solution. For this 5.5 is needed to break up Bi-Carbonates. Ensures maximum uptake of - Negative Cations like Ca or others. At this time of year Ammonium Nitrate is not your friend. It ties up Negative Micro nutrients. So Checked the pH of drenches at 5.7. TDS was pretty darn high tough.
Last night in between the Potassium Bicarb hit the 1144* with a small 3L spray of weak IBA, Kelp and HA. PM and all insects are firmly under control and as yet no sightings of Borers!
