This is really shaping up to Not Be My Year. My fourth round of germination failed to produce anything except lawn. The sun did not come out like I was hoping, so yesterday I set up one of the mini-greenhouses and a heat lamp and direct sowed some kohlrabi and some more heavy cucumbers. I really hope this works because I am running out of patience and time for this season. This is the worst season of gardening I have ever experienced. My soil has never been better. These are not the gardening lessons I was hoping to learn, lol! I was warned of the Sophomore Slump and I thought I was avoiding it by not doing anything extreme in my garden, but I guess not.
