Past week-- Very nice weather for November. Glenoma is just out past the local, sometimes regional, fog layer so I am not sure how many nice days elsewhere but nothing to complain about here! One pumpkin made it this far, not as many as last year but again proving they could possibly be used as thanksgiving decor, if well cared for! Spread all leaves... Ready as ever, for four or five months of rain and snow. Note to self... Leaves are an infinite resource... I should experiment with different amounts of shredded leaves and how/where they can be useful. Garlic, potatoes, rhubarb, and other bulbs may do well and grass could be weakened or killed. They make great bug habitat which means only 'soil bug' resistant type plants will thrive.
Will be working on the seed exchange. Goal is 40 packs of seeds to everyone who participates. Maybe you have an interesting seed to share? More info on the seed exchange message board. I will return emails on Sunday or Monday. 2020 is a comin'. Growers-- I do hope it's a really good year for you & your garden.
