							| Step 5.  Set up my tripod.  I already tested the tripod last year for 795.5 lbs.  It should handle this pumpkin.  I don't use a lifting ring.  Fourteen doubled poly twines up to the hook.  It's a 200 lb line.  It should be able to hold 200 lbs x 28 strands = 5600 lbs.  The poly line might be weaker at the knots... but I'd say its close to a 10 x safety margin on this job! 
 Much better than past years...
