							| First tomato weighed. 2.0 lb. It is an ordinary domingo single... left it because I knew it would be the first to ripen and I want to eat it. It feels light. Ps next year I could experiment with stress signals maybe doing some slight damage to the plant on a daily basis after where the tomato is set might cause a favorable response? Under certain comditions the response to physical damage might artificially provoke fruit growth? Just a crazy idea. Really just need a lot more focus on the roots and soil and pruning. But I feel like there is an unexplored world of vascular manipulation. Something akin to girdling could be quite effective. Heck I may not grow anything next year but I cant let the tool on top of my neck get dull. Whenever I grow again...I'll just dust off the old ideas and go from there.
