More hanging out with the zucchini! As for the sign, I sometimes have young hands in my neighborhood pulling up plants or picking flowers and leaving them for dead. I have found that they appreciated gardening more this year when I spent time having each child prepare the soil, plant seedlings, water and feed. They were reminding each other not to pull up the plants as time passed and are sometimes wowed by how big the plants can get and the veggies or flowers produced. In the photo, I have been challenged with mildews on my space saver zuke. Great plant, but the cool nights are reeking havoc. I continue to lightly water only at the base and only in the morning. Bonide Fungonil is great product which you might want to give a try. Please only apply during times of no direct sunlight and follow the directions!
