here is my 1734-steil.after the competition, i thought i would bring it home in the truck, and get some seeds from it, and then feed it to my cows. i backed up to a big post in the cattle yards, put a rope around it and drove off, thinking it would break up so i could get my seeds. when i dragged it off the truck i heard a big thud as it hit the ground. it just landed on it's blossom end, and sat there, right where it landed, no cracks or split at all; 1313 lbs landing on it's end from about 4.5 foot up. should be pretty thick.
