well, here is my effort for this season; i am so happy with these results. my aim was to try to get one weighing 1,000 lbs
i would have been extremely happy with that.we had to pick them early, because one had a bit of a soft spot in it, and had to be picked, so we could get it in under cover, where it is cooler; many thanks to Steve, who drove his tractor 15 miles out to my place, and picked the three up and weighed them. i couldn't have done it without Steve and Helen, who took one back in her ute, and i drove my ute with the trailer; because i am out of town, we picked the three while Steve was here, with his tractor;;
if i wasn't hooked before, i definitely am now;
1317-clements=1135 lbs
1947-clements=1143 lbs
1734-steil =1331 lbs
i am just waiting until jan 30th for our competition;
thank you to all the people on bp.com for all there help with seeds and some great advice. i now want to grow one big enough to repay the favor, and send some seeds back;
