It's not proving particularly easy to get the soil nutritional levels just right and I'm sure we will be a lot more accurate next year. As the soil is very deep it's not easy to work out where we should be taking the samples from. The pot system that we are working on appears to be doing very well with five out of five inspections positive. I think I would encourage all growers reading my diary to try this on a couple of vines.
