After far from perfect rooting from the vines we have come up with a new plan for this year. First of all we felt that although we were burying the vines, light was still getting to the nodes and inhibiting the new roots. The second thing we felt was that the material covering the vine was getting too dry before the root had developed. Third,was why not put some rooting hormone on the node as well.
