I finally got a day fishing yesterday and spent the whole day fishing for carp on floating dog biscuits. It's a great way to fish and certainly up close and personal. Believe it or not this stunning 22lb chestnut coloured common carp was no more than four feet away from me when I caught her and under the cover of magical moss coated trees. Just in front of me I had a nest of one day old chicks and on the bank I was feeding a small mouse:- fishing doesn't get better than that. I got two more 20lb fish on another lake and a couple of smaller but perfect fish to boot.
