You might of noticed that we don't have hoop houses over the plants this year despite not having any of our overhead heating yet. The reason is that we felt we did to much damage to the soil and the root system putting it in and pulling it out. It's a definite advantage to have the extra heat at night but long term in this years patch we want to try the perfect soil route. Actually we don't have the vents working either at the moment and they are just left open a little but we hope to get that sorted next week.
