Planted three 84 Ciesielski back-up field pumpkins to take the place of the 1536 Marsh AG plants. The 1536 Marsh plants (I had 2) both would completely flag like they were going to die in the heat over 90 degrees.I pulled the worst one and tried to save the other with shading. The flagging stopped but the plant would not grow after that and looked stunted. I pulled it this week and replaced that area with three field pumpkins I had as back-ups.
