Welcome to the 2017 edition of the Howard Dill Club brought to you by the Mid-Atlantic Giant Pumpkin Growers. The goal of this diary is to honor the recipients of the Howard Dill award and to give other growers a chance to see what the pumpkin looks like. Information about the cross will also be provided when available. Participation is completely voluntary and submissions should be emailed to Midatlanticgpg@gmail.com for posting. As always we will refrain from making any biased comments about the entries. If you locate any inaccurate information in this diary, please contact us immediately so that we may have it corrected. Good luck at the weighoffs this year and we hope to see your pumpkin here soon.

I just don't have time to format each submission into a uniform entry so as you can see, the text provided with the photo will be exactly as provided this year. I'm sure you all can figure it out. Here are some more, please keep them coming.

hope you all enjoyed these few initial entries, we do have more that we've already received so please be patient if your are wondering where your entry is. It is very tiresome to convert many of these photos from whatever format into the necessary jpeg format required by BP.com. also the file size can't be huge; I realize that cameras and phones are taking very high quality pics these days but right now this website can't handle them.. Please convert to jpeg and that will solve a lot of my problems and help get the photos of HD winners posted as quick as possible. thank you all for growing orange pumpkins and thank you for your willingness to share your efforts with the community.
