Hello, the new 2025 season is upon us,this is a look at current patch conditions, weather is slightly above normal for this time of year , which is closing in at 13 hrs of daylight and gaining 5 mins a day

My patch is going to be driven by a Ford this year , they look good so far
They will be kept inside for about 3 weeks as I under go operation Perma-Thaw and get things ready in the gh for transplanting

This the 1st step for me in thawing out the frozen ground in the gh, a simple thermostatically controlled exhaust fan.
It sucks the warm air from the top and blows it thru 70 ft of 4" perforated pipe buried about 14 inches down ... free easy heat

Mini gh's are ready , they are roughly 10 foot wide at the base by 13 feet long by 6 feet wide at the other end, I'm hoping the plant man's about two weeks in there, by then things should warm up

2551 Ford is finally in the ground, one good thing about planting , a plant this big ,you know which way the main is going
The 2177 Ford is in the other GH. I just forgot to take a picture. It looks similar to this plant.
