Wednesday, January 7 View Page Our Club of growers of giant pumpkins and vegetables in Russia conducted the first independent official weigh-ins. And we finally summed it up. More than 50 growers of giant pumpkins and vegetables participated from 33 regions of Russia in the first official independent weigh-ins in Russia, which were conducted by our Club this 2025 season. These are just some of the people and some of the results, since not many people knew that we were holding such an event, many found out after the fact and, accordingly, did not videotape or record the result at all, respectively, we could not add to the list of these participants. It is important for us now, in principle, to understand how many people grow giant pumpkins and vegetables in our country, for objective statistics. I remind you that we carried out the weighing online, remotely, because in Russia there are huge distances and only in the central regions there are contests where you can bring vegetables and weigh them offline. And for many it is not possible to do this, because it is long and expensive to transport pumpkins to Moscow, it is many thousands of kilometers. And we wanted to give a chance to everyone from different remote regions of the country to participate. For the first year, the first time we have held official weigh-ins, we consider this to be a good result and experience, which has shown that it is possible to hold this event next year. All that remains is to work on informing people so that everyone who wants to participate finds out on time and does everything right for the weigh-in.
